Severe Chronic Hand Eczema that does not respond to Topical Therapy? If you are 18-75 years of age with severe hand eczema/dermatitis refractory to topical therapy, you may qualify to participate in a research study of an investigational medicine at South Lincoln Dermatology Clinic.
To qualify you must:
- Have confirmed diagnosis of Chronic Hand Eczema for at least 6 months, rated severe by Dr. Basler.
- Be willing to use 2 methods of contraception.
- Be willing to have blood tests.
You will be compensated for travel and time. Clinic visits and study medications provided at no cost.

Do you have Atopic Dermatitis and have been treated with Protopic® (tacrolimus ointment)?
A long-term safety research study is being conducted at this office to evaluate the safety of Protopic®
|
Have you used Protopic ®:
- Before the age of 16, and
- For at least 6 weeks for the treatment of atopic dermatitis?
If so, you may qualify to participate in this study.
Qualified participants will receive:
- 1 Physical examination every year and 1 dermatological examination every other year for the next 10 years
- Study participation with little to no interference in your daily activities
- Gift cards following a paper or telephone interview, conducted every 6 months.
